About Me

I am Dr. Raghu Dhumpati, a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering working at Bahrain Polytechnic deputed to Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST), Bahrain. My academic work focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Technologies, with a strong commitment to advancing knowledge through rigorous research and high-quality teaching.

Research Interests

My primary research areas include machine learning for threat detection, intrusion detection systems, predictive analytics, and face recognition technologies. I develop systems that address real-world challenges in cybersecurity and intelligent computing, with publications spanning international journals and conferences (28 publications, 5 patents).

Teaching & Mentoring

I am deeply committed to mentoring students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma levels across a range of computer science disciplines. I collaborate actively with academic and industry partners to ensure that my teaching remains relevant, applied, and forward-looking.
